The fear it grips me tight as it begins to take a hold
Not knowing what attacks my body
The only respite I get is self-medicating
Just to take the edge off
Looking for answers I pursue the healing
Ending all the suffering

Nausea setting in
Shivers and tremors
Constitution’s wearing thin
I pass out from exhaustion

My plans didn’t account for this
